This opening 64.0 km odyssey on the Via Aurelia takes you from the hanging gardens of Menton to the medieval shores of Villeneuve-Loubet in approximately 18 hours of walking. With a challenging 2679m of ascent and 2504m of descent, the trail quickly climbs above the coastline, offering spiritual vistas of the Mediterranean from the perched village of Èze and La Turbie's Roman monuments.
