This masterful 68.4 km journey marks the solemn entry onto the Via Aurelia, connecting the azure shores of Menton to the hills of Opio over three distinctive days. With 2,797m of elevation gain and 2,638m of loss, this 18-hour trek overlooks the Mediterranean, passing through gems like Monaco, Èze, and the imposing Trophy of Augustus in La Turbie. The path winds between the verticality of the Prealpes d'Azur and ancient olive groves, crossing Nice and its historic Saint-Pons Abbey, reflecting centuries of spiritual devotion.
