This ambitious 70.7 km journey over 3 days takes you from the eagle's nest villages of the Riviera to the flower-filled valleys of Pégomas. Featuring a challenging 2248m of elevation gain and 2547m of descent, the route crosses Nice and its iconic Promenade des Anglais before heading into the hinterland via Vence and the Pre-Alps of Grasse. You will encounter significant religious heritage, including the Church of Saint James the Greater in Nice and ancient oratories scattered among the limestone plateaus. This path offers a deep spiritual experience, blending the maritime horizon with the silent, pine-scented forests of the Var border. The difficulty lies in the cumulative 2248m of elevation gain and the long paved sections required to exit the Nice metropolitan area, which are taxing on the joints.
